§ 46-79. Specific speed limits.

It shall be unlawful for a person to operate a motor vehicle in excess of the speed limits established herein as follows:

(1)

The speed limit on Highway 160, also known as 12th Street, from the Muddy Creek Bridge and east thereof shall be 40 miles per hour.

(2)

The speed limit on Highway 160, also known as 12th Street, West of the City of Lamar Heights shall be 45 miles per hour.

(3)

The speed limit on NW 1st Lane and SW 1st Lane, also known as the West Outer Road of Interstate 49, shall be 45 miles per hour.

(4)

The speed limit on all streets within the Lamar City Park shall be 15 miles per hour.

(5)

The speed limit on the public square, which includes Gulf Street between 10th and 11th Streets, 11th Street between Gulf and Broadway Streets, Broadway Street between 10th and 11th Streets, and 10th Street between Gulf and Broadway Streets, and including the entire intersections of those streets, shall be 20 miles per hour.
