§ 30-52. Following fire trucks.

No operator of any vehicle shall follow a fire truck until such truck is at least one block ahead of his vehicle, and the operator of such vehicle shall at no time come within one block of such fire truck; provided, however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to duly appointed and acting members of the fire department.
